I am taking the lead from my bloggy friend...and I promise that although a few of mine will match, I am not copying her =)
...who calls her kids rotten and
they know it means "I adore you"
...who tells my truck driver husband
it doesn't matter if they get dirty
...who will drive around for an hour
just to find the perfect "puddle jumping" puddle
...who, when my kids fall and get hurt
make them (really just encourage them)to try it again ...I rarely tell them NOT to do it again
...lets my kids pick out their own clothes
even though they rarely match
...refuses to makes decisions about my kids out of fear,
because we could be afraid of everything
...calls sexual organs by their given names to my kids
and they aren't embarassed
...would rather my kids grow into the adults they were created to be vs
being something "I" might want them to be
...wont mind if my kids choose to go to college,
or choose not to go to college....as long as they are true to themselves
...tell my kids they can't have pop (or soda or coke...whatever you call it) b.c its bad for them
but have a hard time not drinkng it myself
...loves to play video games with her boys,
even though they always win
...always cook, clean, bake, etc with lots of little hands involved,
b.c they love it and I wont do it all
...thinks the greatest thing my kids could ever "achieve"
is a head over heels, cant get enough , love for Christ
...can go and go and go, getting a gazillion things done,
but really can't make myself push them on the swing
...loves to do puzzles with her kids
...will paint my boys' toenails if they request
(they always stop requesting after age 3)
...who wants my kids to see me and their daddy hugging and kissing and loving eachother,
and I hope they are as affecionate with their spouses someday!
...who is crazy in love with my kids
but they drive me crazy and wear me out
...who talks about the Bible and Christ all the time,
but am really bad at acutally reading it to them
...who loves the idea of homeschooling,
but am not cut out to do it
....who, although I don't "homeschool",
am always teaching
...who buys about 50% of their clothes on clearance, 40% used and 10% full price
( I have no idea of these percentages are accurate...just a guesstamate!)
...who refuses to have a million toys,
and encourage them to use anything and everythign in the house to imagine in their playing
...who has a really hard time doing bedtime alone,
which means most the time I don't do bedtime very good
...will drive 8 hours with 5 kids to Chicago alone,
but refuses to stop at the post office with them!
...who wont apologize for my boys being energetic and loud,
b.c they aren't doing anything wrong
...cries everytime I watch Ella dance,
b.c she is graceful beyond words description (and its NOT from me!)
