So, 5 Minutes for Mom is doing a photo contest!! They want to see a photo that respresents motherhood to me (since mothers day is just around the corner).
This photo is of my very good friend, Mandy, seeing her baby for the first time. If you could have seen her face the second before this smile, it would allow you to enjoy her smile EVEN more. She was screaming and in agony and *BOOM* the huge grin was there!
Motherhood is just this way isnt it? =) Full of exhaustion and hard times...but JUST LIKE that our children can make us grin ear to ear!

Hi, I clicked on your pic from the finalists post. This is the one I voted for. As I was scrolling through the pics, this one took my breath away and I got all choked up and tears formed in my eyes. No others had that effect on me, so I knew this was the one I had to vote for. I came over to read the story on it. I assume you took the photo? It is awesosme. What an amazing moment to catch. I agree! This is my favorite picture of all the finalists selected. It perfectly captures how thrilling the moment you first see the fruit of your womb.
Oh, this photo evokes SO MUCH emotion!! I have been blessed with four of these moments. This made my heart smile in remembrance!

I have to say that I agree with you, though. If I lose, I'll be glad it's to you because yours is the photo that would have gotten my vote. The emotion it evokes is so amazing, and it brings me back to those same moments with my 3 kids.
